I was born and raised in Buffalo, NY. I like saxophone a lot and went to/graduated from the Eastman School of Music. I played in some bands in high school including “Aaromatics” and “The Orange Groove.” I won a downbeat award for best jazz soloist in my junior year of high school…I still don’t know if that means anything…felt cool at the time though.
Eastman came next. I met many amazing people/musicians and started questioning everything…to which this day I continue to do…in hopes of bettering myself and trying not to make all encompassing statements(which I do ALL of the time…haha). Eastman was great for many things, however, it wasn’t until after college that I realized I wanted to learn…so I went out and bought World History for Dummies.
I lived in Philadelphia for a year. I now live in Atlanta…which is great. I believe in intelligent extraterrestrial life and that they have and continue to visit earth(but maybe only in the way that you bend down to check out an ant hill once in a while…or not). I hope during my lifetime that I get to meet some of them on peaceful terms. I hope to live for a very long time and be cryogenically frozen when I die. I enjoy the ideas of Einstein, Nikolai Tesla and Glenn Gould…and wish that I had either been good friends with them or actually had been one of them.
I also danced for 10 years of my life: tap, jazz, and ballet. I don’t remember much of this time period for some reason. I started my own graphic design business, Boom Design Group Inc., with two friends in July of 2004. Check us out: www.boomdesigngroup.com
One thought to leave you with: If I told you the color red was actually blue, how long/what would it take for you to believe me? One answer might be: “One week of television commercials.”
