I love learning things that completely change my perspective for the better. For example, my friend Ed RosenBerg told me a few months ago that our common perception of the world in space, with North America and Europe at the “top”, may not be true. We cannot truly know our orientation in the universe in terms of what is the top and what is the bottom. Antarctica may very well be the top of the world. Now some of you might say, “Of course we can tell what the top is, there is a magnetic force emanating from the North Pole.” My response would be, “humans designated the North Pole as the ‘top’, it very well may be the bottom or the side.” Side note, the poles have reversed 400 times during the earth’s history, it might be starting again: Pole Shift

My company, Boom Design Group, is currently working on the concert design and installation for The Baseball Music Project. A few months ago, the show was going to premiere at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. However, the same week that it was to premiere, the hearings for steroid use in baseball were happening just down the street. The main sponsor backed out because they thought there was the potential that some might view the concert as propaganda. I took this photo from the stage. (again, sorry about the quality…cell phone camera)
