The Beyondo Project - Linden Oaks Studios

October 28th, 2005

This past May I recorded and mixed the first 3 of 8 tracks for The Beyondo Project. My friend Eric Biondo writes great pop tunes. I decided to take 8 of my favorites and rearrange, record, and “radio ready” them. I hope to have this record out in early spring. Ben Parris engineered the 4 day session along with assistant Steve Davies. A HUGE thank you to Ben Parris for going way above and beyond to get the 3 tracks done in 4 days. Ben also plays great drums on the tracks. These 3 tracks will be available for purchase (via download) from my store page (coming soon) soon. You can hear some excerpts from the 3 tracks on my audio page. Here are some pics of the beautiful studio.

It’s Alive…

October 4th, 2005

Usual: Welcome to my site. It is finally up and functional.

Dreams: For the past 3 months I have been having dreams about my high school days. Subsequently, I’m jonesin to get back in touch with some people from my high school. So if you’re reading this and you went to high school with me, click here and shoot me a message.

Food: Does anyone else find it strange how hard it is to buy food without preservatives? I got a feeling for some pickles the other day. I went to the store and was unable to find pickles without preservatives. Furthermore, there was yellow #5 mixed in. Are people really less likely to buy pickles if they don’t have that strange yellow hue to them? What? I have a loaf of bread in my refrigerator that has been there for almost 2 months. There are no preservatives in it and there is not an ounce of mold on it..and it is still soft. Let’s chill with the preservatives Kraft.

spread love,
Matt
